Feel new sounds reverberate, live at Heritage Hall.

Montreal’s Architek Percussion takes audiences on a full sensory journey at Music on Main’s first in-person event of the Spring season.

The evening will be a unique live studio filming experience where we’ll guide audiences from one side of the room to the other between performances, allowing a change in perspective and setting while Music on Main films these electrifying percussionists.

This event promises to take you on a musical ride. You’ll feel the percussion reverberate throughout your body while you become mesmerized by a mix of delicate sounds and contrasting rhythms.

The centrepiece of Architek’s appearance is the world premiere of an epic new piece by Music on Main’s Composer in Residence, Sabrina Schroeder. When you’re part of the small, in-person audience, you’ll be the first to hear an essential new work for drums and transducers.

Don’t miss this not-so-typical listening experience and get a behind-the-scenes perspective on filming new music. It will be an immersive performance that not only centres on sound, but also on the body-feel that emanates from the instruments.
