Pianist Michelle Mares has earned a stellar reputation for deeply felt, moving interpretations of the great piano repertoire. After spending 20 years in Europe she returned to her native West Coast and teaches at the University of Victoria.
For her concert at the intimate Cellar Jazz Club, she performs Chopin’s formidable and gorgeous Etudes, Opus 10 & Opus 25.
