Music on Main joins forces with West Vancouver’s Kay Meek Centre for concerts in the cozy, cabaret-like setting of the Kay Meek Studio Theatre. With a bar before the concert and during the short intermission, and a chance to mingle with the artists and your neighbours, MoM at the Meek is wonderful way to get up close and personal with great music.
Pianist Michelle Mares has earned a stellar reputation for deeply felt, moving interpretations of the great piano repertoire. After spending 20 years in Europe she returned to her native West Coast and teaches at the University of Victoria.
For her homecoming to West Vancouver, she performs Chopin’s formidable and gorgeous Etudes, Opus 10 & Opus 25.
