BIG BANG Festival
Adventurous music festival for young audiences.
BIG BANG Festival is a festive ode to adventurous music and sound art for young audiences. Every year, several major cultural venues in Europe, Brazil and Canada are transformed into an adventurous musical labyrinth. On their exploration, young visitors – and their adult companions – are presented with a multicoloured musical programme of unforgettable musical performances, intriguing sound installations and rousing concerts.
Presented by Music on Main and the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre.
With the support of RBC, Alan & Elizabeth Bell, the Deux Mille Foundation, and the Beech Foundation.
Music on Main gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Canada Council for the Arts, the City of Vancouver, and the Province of British Columbia.
BIG BANG is a creation of Zonzo Compagnie with the support of the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
About the Ambassador Program
BIG BANG ambassadors are children that are involved in the festival as festival reporters. They are the ‘face’ of the festival and reflect on the artistic content. They attend rehearsals and performances, interview artists and visitors, post live information about the festival via social media and also welcome, guide and advise the audience.
See the BIG BANG Festival 2026 event page for information about applying to be an ambassador.
