“There’s a spirit that really gets captured with each song that kind of takes you beyond the notation, and I love that.”

Listening. Together.

Music on Main’s 15th Season celebrates the outstanding artists, communities, and music we’ve experienced together over the years. Listening together has always been our deepest purpose, and continues to drive all that we do, especially in challenging times like these.

Over 15 years, Music on Main has developed a deep relationship with Tyler Duncan (baritone) and Erika Switzer (piano). As part of Music on Main’s 15th season, we were excited to celebrate our 10th Modulus Festival where Tyler and Erika would have been featured artists; however, our plans had to pivot due to COVID-19. Instead, we took advantage of The Chan Centre of Performing Arts’ beautiful lobby in August and filmed a series of great videos that highlight Tyler and Erika’s artistry.

Music on Main proudly presents Tyler Duncan and Erika Switzer during our 15th season with outstanding performances:

These performances and interviews were recorded by Music on Main in Vancouver in August 2020. With high quality audio and video production, Music on Main’s videos are created for listeners to experience great music, wherever they are.

We invite you to take a closer look below and discover the rich world of Tyler Duncan & Erika Switzer and how they celebrated #Beethoven250 and worked with renowned composers from near and far.
