Step into a world where sound and movement merge into something joyful, poetic, and profoundly resonant.

WAIL is a timely and transformative new work from Action at a Distance, directed by Vanessa Goodman, the award–winning choreographer and co-creator of the global sensation Graveyards and Gardens. Known for innovative productions that merge bodies, technology, sound, and ecosystems, Goodman brings together a powerhouse team of collaborators to create an intricately crafted and poetic experience.

Inspired by exaggerated botanical prints and auditory illusions, WAIL features six extraordinary dance artists who move and sing together. As the performers navigate joy within community, the choreography and musical score shift and evolve, forging a sense of intimacy between humanity and the natural world.

Don’t miss WAIL, a world premiere that invites the audience into a multi-sensory world, and that celebrates the resilience of joy in the face of chaos.

Presented by Music on Main, PuSh International Performing Arts Festival and The Dance Centre.

This performance is part of Music on Main’s 20th Season.
Music that resonates.
