Amy joins Artistic Director David Pay and Development Director Cathleen Gingrich to form Music on Main’s newly-strengthened leadership team.

Amy Shostak is a non-profit leader who started her journey in the arts as a theatrical improvisor. She is the former Artistic Director of Rapid Fire Theatre (Edmonton) and former Lead Producer of the Vancouver Improv Festival. Currently, she is faculty at Blind Tiger Comedy School and an ensemble member at Tightrope Impro Theatre.

Recipient of the Excellence in Artistic Direction Award from Edmonton’s Mayor’s Celebration for the Arts, Amy brings more than 15 years of administrative experience as a producer, grant writer, volunteer and program coordinator, artistic director, and facilitator.

She has deep experience leading organizations, collaborating with artists, and performing as an improvisor around the world, and I can’t wait to work with her launching Music on Main’s 20th Season and planning future projects together,” says Artistic Director David Pay.

Amy’s appointment aligns with the promotion of Cathleen Gingrich to Development Director. Since her arrival at Music on Main in 2022, Cathleen’s commitment to leading the organization’s fundraising and helping to navigate its strategic goals has contributed deeply to MoM’s success. She has made an incredible impact to the organization, strengthening relationships, expanding our community of supporters, and ensuring our projects come to life.
