What’s new for the piano? Just ask Eve Egoyan.

Internationally known as one of Canada’s leading contemporary music interpreters, Eve has released nine solo discs. In 2013 was awarded Chalmers Arts Fellowship to pursue her own creative work. When she returns to Vancouver, her concert includes a brand new work from Linda Catlin Smith, alongside serious, intriguing music by James Tenney, Piers Hellawell, and Michael Finnissy.

Eve’s concert promises to be a night of discovery, and celebration.

James Tenney’s To Weave (a meditation) (2003)

Piers Hellawell’s Piani, Latebre (2010)

Linda Catlin Smith’s Nocturnes and Chorales (2014)

Michael Finnissy’s Folklore, Section 2, for Sir Michael Tippett (1993-1994)
