Spend a night getting to know the music of R. Murray Schafer, Canada's greatest living composer.  You'll witness the world premiere of his new work for flute, harp and viola, co-commissioned by Music on Main.

Also on the programme: Schafer's game-changing String Quartet No.1 and his magical, Egyptian-inspired Arcana for soprano and ensemble.

Featuring Vancouver's Trio Verlaine, Montreal's Quatuor Bozzini, the Turning Point Ensemble, and soprano Robyn Driedger-Klassen.

The composer will be in attendance.
