Let’s talk about music.
Get an insider’s perspective on creation from Composer in Residence Nicole Lizée when she shares her ideas and insights over an hour of conversation and cocktails. This JUNO nominated composer and video artist’s work is celebrated with performances around the world, from the Sydney Festival to San Francisco Symphony.
Join us as Nicole delves into what it’s like to write and perform for ghosts, phantoms, and icons, what it means to break the 4th and 5th wall, and hauntology – not sure what hauntology means and how it pertains to music? You’ll want to come check this out! You will also get to become music makers with Nicole during “Game Night” when she demonstrates how an object like a vintage game can become an instrument.
This is a unique opportunity to meet Nicole in person and find out what makes her tick as a composer and performer. Also – there are cocktails – how can you beat that?
FREE! Ensure your seat by reserving your spot.
