City of Vancouver announces new performing and media arts cultural hub, downtown at CBC Building
On February 5, 2014, the City of Vancouver and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation announced a unique cultural amenity space that will benefit Vancouver arts makers for the next 30 years. The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, Touchstone Theatre, DOXA Documentary Film Festival, and Music on Main have been selected to occupy and animate a new 8,477 square foot performing and media arts cultural hub. Located at 750 Hamilton Street in downtown Vancouver, the space will include offices, meeting rooms, and a rehearsal studio. The four companies expect to move into the new space in the fall of 2014.
